Total income of Uzbekistan's population growing

In 2019, growth rate of total income in Uzbekistan reached 21.9 percent, Trend reports citing State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

According to preliminary data, from January through December 2019, volume of total income of the population amounted to 344.7 trillion soum ($36.06 billion).

Average per capita nominal total income of the population above the national average was noted in Tashkent city - 20.04 million soum ($2,096), in Navoi regions - 16.37 million soum ($1,712), Bukhara region - 12.72 million soums ($1,330), Khorezm - 10.82 million soum ($1,132) and Tashkent district - 10.40 million soum ($1,088).

High indicator of real growth of total per capita income was recorded in Tashkent city - 10 percent.

Substantial changes in income from labor activity (income of hired workers and self-employment), which account for 69.1 percent of total income and 25.3 percent of transfer income, mainly contribute to the significant growth of the total volume of aggregate income of the population.

High indicator of activities (income of hired workers and income from self-employment) recorded in Navoi province (83.6 percent).

Nominal growth rates of income by the corresponding period of 2018 reached 18.7 percent and contributed to the growth of nominal volume of total income in the order of 13.3 percent.
