By Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:

Georgian wine-producing company Nekresi postponed the development plan of the chateau, Trend reports via Georgian media.

As Oto Tabatadze said, the reason for this is the pandemic.

According to Tabatadze, an 8-room hotel and restaurant are already built on-site. They could not open them because of the pandemic.

The wine factory located in Kvareli produces 7 varieties of wines currently, including Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, Mukuzani, Akhasheni Saperavi, and Khashmi Saperavi. The company receives production from locals.

Currently, Nekresi exports production to Korea.

At the beginning of December, it plans to export approximately 5,000 bottles of wines. As Tabatadze noted, the company exported the products to America, China, Israel, and Ukraine before the pandemic.
