Transactions in the national currency worth more than 160.3 million Turkmen manat ($45.8 million) were registered on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in December 2020, Trend reports with reference to the exchange.
In the first week of December, transactions in the national currency of 29.3 million manat ($8.4 million) were registered on the exchange of Turkmenistan.
In the second week of December, transactions worth 37.8 million manat ($10.8 million) were concluded on the Turkmenistan’s exchange in the national currency.
In the third week of December, transactions worth 55.9 million Turkmen manats ($15.9 million) were concluded on the country's stock exchange in the national currency.
As for the fourth week of December, transactions in the amount of 37.2 million manat ($10.6 million) were registered on the exchange of Turkmenistan in the national currency.
As reported, in November, transactions worth more than 207.1 million Turkmen manats ($59.2 million) were registered on the stock exchange of Turkmenistan in the national currency.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important agency of state regulation of export-import operations.
