The overall index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) dropped by 25,254 points to 1.256 million, on January 23, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
Over 5.6 billion shares valued at $773 million changed hands at TSE for the day.
The indices of Mobarakeh Steel Company, National Copper Industrial Company, Persian Gulf petrochemical Co., Tamin oil and gas petrochemical company, Nouri Petrochemical Co., and Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery Company had the most negative impact on TSE.
The overall index of the Farabourse dropped by 201 points to 17,354.
