Central Bank unveils details of Iran’s foreign debts

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 6. Iran's foreign debts amounted to about $8.14 billion, as of the end of the 1st month (April 20, 2022) of the current Iranian year, Trend reports via the statistics of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

According to the statistics, Iran's short-term debt stands at about $2.21 billion, while the long-term is at about $5.93 billion.

In euros, Iran's foreign debt amounted to about 7.55 billion euros at the end of the 1st month. Of this, 2.05 billion euros is short-term debt, while 5.5 billion euros is long-term debt, the statistics said.
