BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 27. The insurance market increased in Azerbaijan from January through August 2022, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan told Trend.
According to the CBA, this figure amounted to 654.9 million manat ($385.2 million), up by 12.8 percent compared to the first eight months of 2021 (571.08 million manat or $335.9 million).
Besides, from January through August this year, the volume of insurance payments decreased by 16.5 percent compared to the same period of 2021 - to 283.6 million manat ($166.8 million)
A total of 43.3 manat ($25.4) accounted for every 100 manat ($58.8) of the payments (versus 58.5 manat or $34.4 in 8M2021), added the CBA.
