BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 18. The International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) took first place in terms of the loan portfolio among local banks in the third quarter of 2023, Trend reports.
The data from the IBA's balance sheet revealed that the volume of the bank's loan portfolio amounted to 4.48 billion manat ($2.6 billion).
Kapital Bank took the second position with a total loan portfolio of 3.9 billion manat ($2.29 billion).
PASHA Bank ranked third with a loan portfolio of over 2.7 billion manat ($1.6 billion), followed by Xalq Bank (1.8 billion manat or $1.06 billion) and Bank Respublika (1.09 billion manat or $640 million).
The total loan portfolio of the first three banks of Azerbaijan amounted to 11.1 billion manat ($6.5 billion), making up 61.29 percent of the total loan portfolio of ten Azerbaijani banks (18.15 billion manat or $10.68 billion), or 49.97 percent of the total volume of all local banks (22.26 billion manat or $13.09 billion).
