The projects implemented in Azerbaijan in recent years are mainly related to projects of ‘smart’ cities (‘smart mobility’), General Manager of the French Schneider Electric company for Central Asia Dan Vlasceanu said in an interview with Trend.
According to Vlasceanu, transport and communications are the most important sectors of urban development around the world.
“The implementation in Azerbaijan, as in most developed countries, of smart energy and infrastructure, as well as the development of world-class solutions for the provision, distribution and use of reliable, safe and sustainable energy and utilities, are largely related to ‘smart mobility’ solutions,” Vlacheanu added.
He reminded that Schneider Electric was nominated for the world's best sustainability company in 2020.
Also, this is the recognition of innovative products and solutions that are being implemented in the countries of Central Asia, as well as in Azerbaijan.
“Our latest range of solutions are as follows: MV switchgear without SF6 (insulating gas), the Easergy innovative range (part of the PowerLogic range of power monitoring and control solutions) for network protection and analysis, modular data centers, and especially the latest software packages for energy management, covering the area of industrial efficiency from design to operation and maintenance,” said Vlaseanu.
