BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 19. The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port of the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) decreased by 36.6 percent in the 12th month of the last Iranian year (February 20 through March 20, 2022), compared to the 11th month (January 21 through February 19, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, about 45,400 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port over the reporting month. Of this, 2,380 tons were loaded and 43,000 tons were unloaded.

About 2,380 tons of cargo were exported and 40,700 tons were imported through the Noshahr port in the 12th month.

In addition, 2,270 tons of cargo were unloaded in the port for cabotage.

“So, 39,000 tons of essential products, 120 of chemicals, 3,950 tons of leather goods, clothing, fibers, paper, and wood materials and 9 tons of container products, and about 2,280 tons of crude oil and related products were loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port in the 12th month of the current Iranian year.

About 12.2 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 12th month of the last Iranian year. Of this, 6.2 million tons were loaded and 5.98 million tons were unloaded. This is a decrease of 5.3 percent, compared to the same month preceding the Iranian year.
