Kazakhstan supports India's aspiration to become a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). India supports Kazakhstan's candidacy for membership in the UN Security Council in 2017-2018, this statement was made during the meeting between Indian Vice-
President Mohammad Hamid Ansari‎ and Kazakh ambassador to India Dulat Kuanyshev, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reported.

The meeting was held on the occasion of completion of the Kazakh ambassador's diplomatic mission.

"The sides stressed the ongoing dynamics of developing the bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and India in all areas," according to the press service.

The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and India doubled. It was $ 750 million for the six months of this year, the Kazakh foreign ministry reported.
