ASTANA, Kazakhstan, August 21. The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Vietnam amounted to $610.9 million from January through June this year, Trend reports.
According to official data, the trade turnover between the countries in the first half of 2023 will be 3.5 times higher than in the same period last year ($174.7 million).
Kazakhstan's exports over the time period in question totaled $117.7 million, which is 4.7 times larger than the country's exports during the first half of last year ($24.6 million).
Likewise, Kazakhstan imported $494.2 million from Vietnam from January through June of this year, which is 3.3 times more than it imported from Vietnam for the same time period in 2022 ($150.1 million).
While no zinc deliveries were made to Vietnam during the same period previous year, zinc accounted for the majority of Kazakhstan's exports to Vietnam during the stipulated period, totaling $83.4 million.
