ASTANA, Kazakhstan, January 22. Kazakhstan has exported 59.8 million tons of oil worth 23.6 billion euros to EU countries from January through November 2023, Trend reports, citing the Eurostat.
Thus, Kazakhstan took third place among oil-exporting countries in the EU.
The first place was taken by the US (59.8 million tons of oil for 37.7 billion euros), and the second place was taken by Norway (49.5 million tons for 33.2 billion euros).
The US is in first place (59.8 million tons of oil worth 37.7 billion euros), and Norway is in second place (49.5 million tons of oil worth 33.2 billion euros).
Earlier, the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan, Almasadam Satkaliev said that in 2023, the volume of oil production in Kazakhstan amounted to about 90 million tons, although it was initially planned to produce 92–93 million tons of oil.
According to him, about 18 million tons of oil produced in 2023 went to the domestic market. About 56 million tons were exported through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.
In addition, the country plans to increase oil production in 2024 to 90.3 million tons.
