Japan supports Kyrgyzstan in field of human resources

BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, August 2. Kyrgyzstan received $2.26 million in gratuitous aid from the Government of Japan under the scholarship program for human resources development, Trend reports.

According to the official source, this grant agreement was signed between representatives of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy and the representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Kyrgyzstan, Kawamoto Hiroyuki.

The parties noted that the funds will be used for personnel training and the development of bilateral relations between the states.

Furthermore, representatives of the Ministry also signed exchange notes with Japanese Ambassador Hideki Goda.

Cooperation between Japan and Kyrgyzstan plays a key role in strengthening relations and achieving common goals. Infrastructure projects, energy security, trade, education, culture, and humanitarian assistance are the main areas of cooperation.

A deeper partnership between the two countries creates new prospects for economic growth and the well-being of societies in Kyrgyzstan and Japan.
