BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, August 30. The average daily gasoline consumption in Kyrgyzstan amounts to 1,781 tons, Trend reports.
According to the country’s Antimonopoly Regulation Service, diesel fuel consumption is slightly lower at 1,507 tons. As a result, the overall consumption of petroleum products in the country reaches 3,200 tons per day.

In the country's fuel market, there are around 5–6 major petroleum companies operating, with a network of gas stations across the country. They provide for about 90 percent of the market's demand.
"The companies ensure a two-month supply of petroleum products at storage to provide the population, enterprises, and strategic facilities with petroleum products," the service said.
According to the State Statistical Committee of the country, Kyrgyzstan's import of motor gasoline reached 271.535 million liters from January through June 2023, which is 35 percent less compared to the same period in 2022 (414.958 million liters). Russia was the primary motor gasoline supplier to Kyrgyzstan, exporting 233.652 million liters worth $90.498 million.
