BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 20. A 5.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Tajikistan, Trend reports citing the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
According to the center, the epicenter of the tremors was pegged at 172 km southeast of the city of Khujand with the population of 144,000 people. The seismic focus was at a depth of 60 kilometers.
There was no information on injuries or damage.
