BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 4. Tajikistan's aluminum exports to Türkiye slightly increased from January through June 2022, Trend reports via Customs Service of Tajikistan.
Aluminum exports from Tajikistan to Türkiye in the first half of 2022 amounted to $70.1 million, which is an increase of 4.4 percent compared to the same period of last year ($67.1 million).
Thus, Türkiye became the main importer of Tajik aluminum in the reporting period, followed by Uzbekistan ($10.6 million).
Overall, Tajikistan's income from aluminum exports during the first half of 2022 amounted to $88 million.
Tajik exports to Türkiye from January through June 2022 amounted to $113.3 million, which is 2.9 percent less than in the same period of 2021 ($116.7 million).
