DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, April 4. Tajikistan aims to further expand exports of its products to European markets, the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, said at the EU-Central Asia summit in Samarkand, Trend reports via the press service of the head of state.

“We aim to further expand exports of Tajik producers' products to European markets, including through the use of mutual trade preferences,” Rahmon said.

The President noted that the progressive development of relations with the EU, both bilaterally and multilaterally, is one of the priorities of Tajikistan's foreign policy.

He emphasized that the Roadmap for deepening relations between Central Asia and the European Union has become a key document regulating the expansion of interregional cooperation and interconnectivity.

In his address, Rahmon also noted Tajikistan's significant natural resources and the potential of its industrial, energy, and agricultural sectors. According to him, Tajikistan is interested in attracting investments, introducing new technologies, and the experience of European companies in this sector.
