BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 10. The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and a number of state-owned enterprises and private structures of Tajikistan signed more than 20 documents on cooperation following the results of the Turkmen-Tajik business forum, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, during the Turkmen-Tajik business forum, a wide range of issues related to the realization of the trade, economic, export and investment potential of the two countries were presented.
The participants of the business forum expressed confidence that the agreements reached will contribute to the intensification of trade and economic relations.
Furthermore, the need was expressed to expand cooperation between entrepreneurs of the two countries, to hold joint exhibitions of producers, economic forums and other events.
Representatives of Tajikistan, as part of the exchange of experience in the field of light industry, made a proposal to create joint ventures on the basis of industry enterprises operating in the country, as well as on the territory of free economic zones.
Meanwhile, more than 250 representatives of private and public business from both countries took part in the Turkmen-Tajik forum held on May 8, 2023.
