ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 30. Turkmenistan's chemical product imports to the EU have been steadily increasing since 2018, and in 2021 they nearly doubled in a single year, the source at Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union told Trend.
Turkmenistan's imports of chemical products from EU countries last year amounted to 111.12 million euros, which is 33.8 percent more than in 2018, when it amounted to 83.02 million euros.
Furthermore, trade turnover has increased, with Turkmenistan's purchases of chemical products from EU nations totaling more than 405.8 million euros from 2018 to 2022.
Turkmenistan's largest volume of chemical product imports from EU countries in recent years fell in 2021, totaling 111.12 million euros.
