Uzbekistan and Pakistan reached a number of agreements on the implementation of joint agriculture projects in the Takhiatash district in Karakalpakstan Republic of Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan.
It is reported that top managers of large Pakistani companies AKD Group, Tahir Asad Industries and Farm Dynamics Pakistan visited Karakalpakstan Republic to get acquainted with the investment climate of the region and discuss the possibilities of implementing specific projects in investor-local partner-administration-industry format.
Pakistani businessmen met with the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Karakalpakstan Bakhytzhan Khabibullaev, the leadership of local PanaMilk, PanaFarms, JV Orient Tecnology, FH Temur, Takhiatash Poultry Farm LLC, Prime Agro Commodities enterprises.
They also got acquainted with investment projects offered by them, and visited the Nukus City under construction, the Kegeyli center for shock and vacuum freezing, the Karakalpakbalyksanaaty enterprise and the Kegeili specialized greenhouse for winter tomato production.
It is noted that a number of agreements were reached on the implementation of joint projects in the Takhiatash region. In particular, in partnership of the parties, a modern poultry farm, an ecological farm-cluster will be created, the production of feed for cattle will be established, the cultivation of potato varieties such as Holland, Mozika, Santa, as well as Basmati, Pakistani variety of export rice.
At the same time, Pakistani entrepreneurs agreed to study the construction of The Arkadians, multi-storey luxury residential complex, on the territory of Nukus City.
