Foreign ambassadors of 32 countries to Tehran have landed in the Iranian Persian Gulf port city of Bandar Abbas in Hormozgan Province to tour the province's tourist and economic attractions, Press TV reported.
The envoys also plan to partake in the Seven Wonders of the Persian Gulf Festival and visit economic and industrial sites of western Bandar Abbas.
"The presence of these ambassadors in Hormozgan Province is a suitable opportunity to introduce Iran's tourism and economic potentials and pave the way to attract foreign investment," Head of Hormozgan's Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization Mehdi Daryanavard told IRNA on Wednesday.
Daryanavard added that the Hormozgan Province, especially its two cities of Bandar Abbas and Qeshm, have witnessed a dramatic development during the term of the current Iranian administration.
"On Wednesday morning, when ambassadors are to depart for Qeshm to participate in the Seven Wonders of the Persian Gulf Festival, the modern industrial vessel of Yassin 110, and one traditional vessel ... will be inaugurated," said the provincial official.
The representative of the regional office of International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO), and the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) are among the participants in the Seven Wonders of the Persian Gulf Festival.
