Inauguration of Arak-Khoramabad highway would help reduce the fuel consumption, said the board member of Construction and Development of Transportation Infrastructures Company Jalal Bahrami, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
"The highway would connect Markazi and Lorestan provinces together that would be part of Imam Khomeini – Tehran-Anzali corridor," he said.
"Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters participated in construction of the 2-nd, 3-rd and 4-th parts of the Arak-Khoramabad highway," Bahrami said.
"Two highway projects with 221 kilometers long were inaugurated in the last Iranian year (started March 20, 2020) and it is planned that highway projects of about 440 kilometers would be completed in the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2021)," he said.
