Georgian Labour Party will definitely take part in presidential elections, and the party leader Shalva Natelashvili will be its candidate, political secretary of the Labour Party Giorgi Gugava said on Wednesday.

He said they had no plans to join any coalition on the eve of elections.

"Political coalitions in Georgia formed in an environment of political free for all, this is why we do not intend to join any coalition, where there is a political bargaining" Gugava said.

Gugava noted that the party favored a presidential system, balanced by a strong parliament and government.

"Today, the matter rests not in the model of governance, but in distribution of power. They are interested in a constitutional model as much as I am interested in pudding price in Malaysia," Gugava said.

As for the interim parliamentary elections, the party will take a decision on this issue in the next few days.
