Former representative of Georgian president in Kodori gorge Emzar Kvitsiani will return to Tbilisi on Feb.27, Kvitsiani wrote on Facebook.

"Friends, today I had a trial and I received the coveted deportation. I will be in Tbilisi on Feb.27, at 16:00. I will need your support; I ask you to meet me at the airport. I have information that Georgia's enemies plan to carry out a provocation. The rest I'll tell you after the arrival," Kvitsiani wrote.

Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs said that Kvitsiani will be detained at the airport, as he is accused of resisting the security forces, which resulted in armed resistance to the Interior Ministry commandos, who tried to take control of the gorge in 2006.

Later Kvitsiani and his military unit were forced to leave Georgia, and he was sentenced in absentia to prison.

All this time he was hiding in Russia. However, two days ago, the Moscow court decided to deport Kvitsiani.
