EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn: EU-Georgia relations going from strength to strength
European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Johannes Hahn welcomes the progress in relations between Georgia and the European Union (EU), Agenda reports.
Meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili at the 54th Munich Security Conference today, EU Commissioner Hahn also praised the government’s efforts in carrying out reforms in Georgia.
Hahn further emphasized that the EU will continue supporting Georgia in reform-making as well as in the implementation of the Georgia-EU joined agenda.
EU Commissioner Hahn once again reiterated that the EU strongly supports Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty within its internationally recognised borders.
The Georgian delegation is headed by Prime Minister Kvirikashvili, at a conference which is bringing together heads of states from more than 30 countries, and more than 100 ministers worldwide.
Having officially kicked off today, the Munich Security Conference will last until February 19.
