The international scientific conference Issues of Tolerance and Dialogue from Jusup Balasagun to Fethullah Gulen was held in Bishkek's business Vefa Center upon the initiative of Ruhaniyat Association on Feb. 27.
Reports of the scientists-specialists regarding occurring inter-national, inter-religious, ethnic confrontations in globalizing world, intolerance in different spheres, etc. were heard at the conference held with the participation of academicians, professors, representatives of Turkish, Russian and Kyrgyz institutes and leading media outlets. It was stressed that such facts negatively impact all cultures and threaten world peace. Work of Jusup Balasagun living in 11 century and Fethullah Gulen famous for construction of scientific-education centers worldwide was analyzed. It was also stressed that settlement of such problems disturbing the world as prevention of terrorism, war and disasters are possible only through conducting dialogue between science, cultures and religions.
The international conference stressed that DA (Dialogue Eurasia) publication plays a role of bridge between Islam and Christianity, as well as other existing world religions.
President of the International Education Center Sebat Orhan Inandi participating in the conference is considered to be practical representative of Fethullah Gulen's ideas in Kyrgyzstan. Nobody will shed blood in the world, there will not be any discrimination between people and races if one follows Jusup Balasagun's instructions, Orhan Inandi told Trend .
"Nizami, Fizuli, Shota Rustaveli, Taras Shevchenko, Lev Tolstoy, Jalaleddin Rumi, Jusup Balasagun and finally Fethullah Gulen taught us kindness, charity and love. They taught in order we will pass all these features to future generations," Inandi said.
The documentary film about Fethullah Gulen was demonstrated and the exhibition of books was held as part of the scientific conference. The meeting completed by speeches of Kyrgyz Minister of Culture and Information Sultan Rzayev and academicians of the National Academy of Sciences.
