Parliament in Kuwait on Wednesday failed to pass a no confidence vote against Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Mohammed al-Sabah, regional news network al-Arabiya reported.
The motion, which had been filed by 10 members of the opposition, did not gain the 25 votes necessary for it to pass in the 50-seat house, DPA reported.
Those who voted against Sheikh Nasser were looking to unseat him for allegedly authorizing a police crackdown on one of their gatherings last month.
