Forty-two people were killed and 24 others injured, four seriously, in a road accident Tuesday in Al Haouz, southern Morocco, local MAP news agency reported.
The accident occurred at about 2:00 a.m. local time (0100 GMT) when a passenger bus overturned into a ravine on a national highway between Zagora in Marrakech, the news agency quoted informed sources as saying, Xinhua reported.
Twenty-one of the injured have been sent to the hospital.
Governor of the province, Younes El Bathaoui, has visited the scene to oversee the rescue operation. Enditem
