Schneider Electric has become one of the sponsors of the International Investment Forum of Turkmenistan, which was held in Istanbul from 4 to 5 March 2015.

The forum was hosted by the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) Turkey-Turkmenistan Business Council and organized in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

The objective of the forum was the extension of constructive dialogue between foreign investors and international financial and banking institutions, public authorities and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

Attended by over 700 delegates the Forum highlighted the immense interest of business circles of the Turkey and businesses from about 50 countries in cooperation with Turkmenistan.

The respectable meeting, dedicated to the official visit of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Turkey, and organized under the auspices of the Presidents of Turkey and Turkmenistan has gained the special significance.

In the unanimous opinion of the participants, its implementation showed that Turkmenistan, which had stepped to the next level in terms of investment activity, has a great potential for increased interaction with the world's leading business circles.

During the forum, a representative of Schneider Electric Mehmet Ali Keciciler made a presentation on the company's success in Turkmenistan and the proposed advanced technologies in the field of energy efficient management of processes in the oil and gas industries, as well as ample opportunities of the mobile electric substations.

Within the framework of the international forum the members of the delegation of Turkmenistan held bilateral meetings with the potential investors.

During the exchange of views on the prospects of expanding cooperation, representatives of foreign companies and leading financial institutions have expressed a great interest in enhancing cooperation with Turkmenistan and willingness to participate in the implementation of new investment projects in the various fields.
