Turkish Armed Forces have cleared some 15 percent of Syria's Afrin district from terrorists, since the beginning of the Operation Olive Branch, Turkish media reported Feb. 20.
A total of 81 settlements were cleared of the terrorists during the operation, according to the report.
“A total of 32 Turkish soldiers were killed for the whole time of the operation,” the report said.
On Jan. 20, the Turkish Armed Forces, together with the Free Syrian Army, launched the Operation Olive Branch in Afrin, Syria.
F-16 fighters of the Turkish Air Force are involved in the operation, inflicting strikes on the positions of PYD/YPG on the Syrian-Turkish border.
