The volume of bentonite transshipment through the Turkish ports exceeded 75,650 tons in January through February 2020, Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend on March 31.
During the reported period, the volume of bentonite transshipment by vessels flying the Turkish flag via the Turkish ports amounted to 3,607 tons.
Meanwhile, ships flying the flag of other countries transported 71,558 tons of bentonite through the Turkish ports.
In January through February 2020, bentonite wasn’t transported by transit through the Turkish ports.
During the reported period the volume of cargo transshipment via Turkish ports made up 62.4 million tons.
The volume of cargo transshipment by vessels flying the Turkish flag in January through February 2020 amounted to 4.5 million tons.
The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying their countries' flag made up 2.6 million, and by ships flying the flag of other countries amounted to 55.2 million tons.
In January through February 2020, over 12.5 million tons of cargo transshipment in transit were carried out through Turkish ports.
The volume of cargo transshipment through the Turkish ports exceeded 29.5 million tons in February 2020.
During the reported month the volume of cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 2.1 million tons.
In February 2020, the volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying their countries' flag made up 1.1 million tons, and by ships flying the flag of other countries amounted to 26.1 million tons.
Over 6.3 million tons of cargo transshipment in transit were carried out during February 2020 through Turkish ports.
