Turkey discloses cargo, passenger traffic at Antalya Airport for 10M2021

The cargo turnover of the Turkish Antalya Airport reached 233,550 from January through October 2021, which is by 119 percent more compared to the same period of 2020, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend on Nov. 22.

The cargo turnover on domestic flights reached 40,938 tons from January through October 2021 (increase of 61 percent compared to the same period of 2020) while on international flights – 192,612 tons (increase of 137 percent), the ministry said.

At the same time, the passenger traffic at the airport reached 20.1 million people from January through October 2021, which is by 125 percent more than from January through October 2020.

The passenger traffic on domestic flights amounted to 4.02 million people (increase of 48 percent) while on international flights – 16.08 million people (increase of 159 percent), the ministry’s report said.

According to the report, the number of flights made from January through October 2021 was 124,962, which is by 99 percent more compared to the same period of 2020.

The number of domestic flights was 33,715 (increase of 39 percent) while international flights – 91,247 (increase of 139 percent).

The passenger traffic at all Turkish airports during the reporting period reached 106.9 million people while the turnover of goods – 2.8 million tons.
