The United States has begun a review of all cooperation programs with Georgia, senior director for European affairs at the National Security Council (NSC) of the White House Michael Carpenter said at a briefing for foreign journalists, Trend reports.
"We hope that we will witness a change in the strategic course pursued by the Georgian government. But at the moment, all our [cooperation] programs with Georgia are under review," he said, answering a corresponding question from a journalist.
The US Department of Defense last week announced that the joint US-Georgian Noble Partner exercise, scheduled for the summer of 2024, was postponed indefinitely due to a review of strategic relations.
