Turkmen-Ukrainian cooperation will be discussed at the intergovernmental level in Kiev in the coming days, an official Turkmen source said.
An intergovernmental commission will be held the day before the Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych's visit to Ashgabat in September.
Cooperation in the spheres of fuel and energy, trade and economy, transport, urban planning, and the agro-industrial complex has been determined a priority.
About 20 companies and organizations operate in Turkmenistan, implementing Ukrainian capital.
The two countries are actively developing cooperation in investments, and significant work is carried out by JSC "Sumy Frunze NPO" on the construction of facilities for the Turkmen oil and gas complex.
Kiev recently announced that Ukrainian enterprises and companies are ready to participate in the implementation of important infrastructure projects of national importance in Turkmenistan, such as main pipelines - in particular, the Turkmen section of the "East - West" gas pipeline and the international gas pipeline "Turkmenistan - Afghanistan - Pakistan - India "(TAPI).
