A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on aerial transport was signed between Iran and Britain on Wednesday, according to Irna.
According to Iranian Civil Aviation Organization, the MoU was signed by director general for international affairs of the national organization and his counterpart from British Civil Aviation Organization.
According to the MoU, the two sides are to authorize growth of their flights to 21 a week in determined routes between the two countries.
In addition to passenger flights, the two countries may have unlimited cargo flights.
British Airways ceased its flights to Tehran six years ago.
Upon the signed MoU, the company will start its flights to Tehran from July 14, 2016.
