Full cease-fire regime had been announced in Tajik city of Khorog on Wednesday, Asia-Plus reported.

A few minutes ago head of Tajik Gorno-Badakhshan autonomous region Korir Kosim met with Khorog's activists.

According to the region's chairman, on Wednesday morning Tajik President Emomali Rahmon ordered to cease fire fully in Khorog.

"This decision was made because there are injured people and corpses of killed people can decompose in the streets," Korir Kosim said.

Meanwhile, the order on disarmament of illegal armed groups remains in force.

A decision was made at the meeting of region's head with city's activists to create a commission which will investigate whether there are injured and dead among the civilian population.

On Tuesday, a special operation started in Tajik city of Khorog to neutralize illegal armed formation, which, according to security services, participated in murdering regional head of National Security Committee Abdullo Nazarov.
According to the Tajik Interior Ministry and the National Security Committee, at least 30 militants and 12 security officers were killed during a special operation. 40 another militants were arrested.
