BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 6. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Aleinik, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan to attend a ministerial meeting of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement.
As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Trend, during the meeting, cooperation between the two countries in various fields on existing bilateral and multilateral platforms was discussed.
Jeyhun Bayramov, once again congratulating his colleague on his appointment to this position, noted that effective contacts have been established between the two countries at all levels.
In turn, Minister Sergei Oleinik said that the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries was marked by a number of prestigious events. The Belarusian FM also said that the two countries have extensive historical relations of cooperation in agriculture, tourism, engineering and other fields.
The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
