The inflation growth rate is expected to be 2.3 percent in 2015 in accordance with the forecasts of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy and Industry, the presentation of Azerbaijan's state and consolidated budget projects for next year, released by the Finance Ministry, says.
As of nine months of 2014, the country's inflation was 1.5 percent.
The consumer price growth rates are projected at 3.5 percent in 2014, the socio-economic development concept says.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts the inflation at the level of 2.8 percent in Azerbaijan in 2014, which is one of the lowest inflation rates in the world. According to the IMF forecasts, the country's inflation will be three percent in 2015.
According to the EBRD forecasts, consumer inflation will not exceed 1.6 percent in Azerbaijan by late 2014.
ADB forecasts the inflation in Azerbaijan for 2014 and 2015 at 4 and 3.5 percent respectively.
