The decision on financing projects of the "Eastern Partnership" program's member-states within the HDM Initiative by the European Commission in 2016-2017 will be made by the end of Q1, 2016.
The deadlines have been moved from the end of February to the end of March, Tofig Babayev, director of the Regional Information Technologies Academy (RITA) told Trend.
"Initiatives on harmonization of digital market of the EU countries and the "Eastern Partnership" (HDM Initiative) are aimed at addressing important issues on formation of the legal basis, improving customs procedures and implementation of software for trading," said Babayev.
"They envisage creation of a single digital space for entrepreneurs to have a single field for trading and mutual settlements," he added.
Azerbaijan prepares project proposals on such directions as e-customs, e-commerce, e-business, e-security, which will be used in the country in the future.
