Monitoring on frontline held peacefully

The monitoring has been held on 25 October 2005 on the area of the Bursunlu village, Terter province, at the front line, the head of the Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry press service Ramiz Melikov told Trend.

The monitoring has been implemented according to the mandate of the OSCE acting chairman personal envoy. The monitoring has been held by the field assistants of the OSCE acting chairman personal envoy Imre Palatinus, Peter Key and Olexander Samarski from the Azerbaijani side.

On the opposite side of the frontline the monitoring has been held by field assistants of the OSCE acting chairman personal envoy Miroslav Vymetal, Harry Eronen and Yuri Aberle.

According to Melikov, there was no ceasefire violation during the monitoring held in the first half of the day. В"Observers from the both sides assessed highly the results of the monitoring””, Melikov said.
