Azerbaijan, Baku, 13 February / Trend corr S. Ilhamgizi / A new union including the five opposition parties may be established in Azerbaijan, Chingiz Demiroglu, the chair of the Taraggi party said to Trend on 13 February.
Since summer 2007, the heads of the public forum 'For Azerbaijan', the Azerbaijan National Independence Party, the Azerbaijan Democratic Party, Musavat, and Taraggi have been meeting and holding the discussions.
Their meeting, which took place on 13 February, discussed the possible unification of the parties.
"At the next meeting, it may be decided to establish a union of these five parties," Demiroglu said.
According to Demiroglu, the project on cooperation amongst the five parties has been developed.
