Georgia, Tbilisi, 2 June / Trend corr N.Kirtskhalia / Shota Malashkhiya, the Chairman of the Interim Parliamentary Committee on Restoration of Territorial Integrity of Georgia, stated to journalists that Russia
will launch large-scale military operations in Abkhazia after the UN will actually recognize the ethnic cleaning in the country.
"This operation is planned to be launched with the help of so-called peacemakers. At present, Moscow has increased its military presence in the country under the pretence of strengthening the peacemaking forces," Malashkhiya said.
Malashkhiya believes that after the UN's resolution Russia was deprived of any juridical key factor to participate in the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict.
"In such a situation, the European Union has increased its activities and the Ambassadors of these countries continuously attempt to explain the residents of Abkhazia that they should take the steps that Georgia proposes," the MP stated.
