Azerbaijan invited all international organizations to monitor the upcoming parliamentary elections, Deputy Foreign Minister Vagif Sadikhov said today.

Azerbaijan invited all international organizations to monitor the upcoming parliamentary elections, Deputy Foreign Minister Vagif Sadikhov said today.  

"The Foreign Ministry invited the representatives of the UN, OSCE, EU, CoE, the CIS Parliamentary Assembly and other organizations," Sadikhov said.

Sadikhov said Azerbaijan now awaiting a response from the organizations. "We hope that they will participate in monitoring the elections," he added.

Parliamentary elections will be held in Azerbaijan Nov. 7, 2010. Previous elections were held in November 2005. The elections are held according to the majority system in Azerbaijan's 125 constituencies.
