Georgian Interior Ministry has started search of one of the leaders of the People Assembly Irakli Batiashvili missing during the dispersion of the rally on May 26, Georgian Interior Ministry's statement says.

Georgian Interior Ministry has started search of one of the leaders of the People Assembly Irakli Batiashvili missing during the dispersion of the rally on May 26, Georgian Interior Ministry's statement says.

The search is launched the missing opposition leader's spouse Maya Batiashvili's appeal, who accuses the Interior Ministry that he is in police and he is tortured, the statement says.
Batiashvili's family appealed the International Red Cross to identify Irakli Batiashvili's location.

The Interior Ministry published a list of 106 arrested protesters, but Batiashvili is not amont them.

There were six people who were considered missing.

Two people were killed and several injured during the opposition's clashes with the Georgian law enforcement agencies on the night of May 26.
