President of Azerbaijan
Ilham Aliyev, his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva and their daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva have today attended an inauguration ceremony of the Kempinski Hotel-Badamdar in Baku, the President's official website reported.
The President and his family members were warmly welcomed here.
The Head of State cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the facility, and then toured it.
The Head of State was told the construction of the hotel started in September, 2008 and ended May, 2011.
The 14-storied facility occupies a total area of 84 square meters.
The complex has hotel, apartments, office buildings, shopping and trade centers, conference hall, three restaurants, SPA center, tennis court, swimming pools, basketball ground, skating rink, parking and aqua park.
The President congratulated the hotel staffers on the opening of the facility.
Gianni van Daalen, Kempinski Hotels' Regional President Europe thanked the President for attending the opening ceremony.
He expressed hope relations with Azerbaijan would continue to develop.
President Ilham Aliyev signed the hotel complex`s guest book.
The Head of State, his family members and the hotel staffers posed for photographs.
