BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 14. Two Azerbaijani civilians were injured as a result of the large-scale provocation of the Armenian armed forces committed in the Dashkasan, Kalbajar and Lachin directions of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border since September 12 night, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry and Prosecutor General's Office said in a joint statement, Trend reports.
According to the statement, as a result of the shelling by units of the Armenian armed forces, a native of Bozlu village, Kalbajar district of Azerbaijan, now a resident of Veysali village, Goranboy district, Asim Musayev (born in 1975) and a native of Aghdaban village, Kalbajar district, now living in Goranboy district’s Garachinar village Arzuman Orujov (born in 1984), who were engaged in livestock husbandry in Kalbajar district, were injured.
Musayev is being treated at the hospital No. 1 in Ganja city, and his condition is assessed as moderate. Orujov was allowed to go home after receiving first aid.
Both cases of injury are currently being investigated as part of a criminal case opened by the military prosecutor's office.
