New Ukrainian Amb to come soon

“Stepan Volkovetskiy, a newly appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan, will arrive in Azerbaijan shortly,” Igor KIzima, the charge d’affairs of Ukraine in Azerbaijan, told Trend.

According to Kizima, upon some technical procedures he would undertake his new commitments. The new Ambassador started his diplomatic career in Georgia 3 years ago as head of the diplomatic mission of Ukraine in Azerbaijan, Kizima said. Volkovetskiy also worked as the governor of Ivano-Frankovskiy Province.

Arriving in Azerbaijan the diplomat is going to present his credentials to country’s leadership.

Ukrainian President Victor Yuschenko signed a decree Monday to appoint Stepan Volkovetskiy the Extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan.
