Azerbaijan , Baku / corr. Trend S.Agayeva / The Government of Japan will carry out six more projects in Azerbaijan within the Grant Program "Grass Roots and Human Safety". According to the information provided by the Embassy of Japan in Azerbaijan , the project intends restoring schools in the districts of Shaki, Imishli and Kurdamir of Azerbaijan, supplying various kinds of equipments to the children home No. 1 of Ganja city as well as improving irrigation system in Barda district. The projects will be signed by the Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan , Tadahiro Abe and representatives of 6 NGOs participating in the realization of the projects. The Government of Japan has allocated $523 614 for the realization of the projects. The program of the Government of Japan "Grass Roots and Human Safety " has been realized in Azerbaijan since 2000. 91 projects have been realized in Azerbaijan within the program in amount of $5,861,492.
