Azerbaijan, Baku, 18 November / Trend corr. R.Ergun/ Elchin Jafarov, former chief coach of the Azerbaijani National Greco-Roman wrestling team, was appointed Vice-President of the Greco-Roman Wrestling Federation, Fazil Mammadov, the President of the Wrestling Federation, said at the fifth conference of the federation on 18 November.
Bahram Murvatov was appointed new chief coach of the National Greco-Roman wrestling team.
Javanshir Gurbanov was appointed Vice-President for regional affairs, Magomed Umarov - Vice-President of freestyle wrestling and Aydin Abbasov - Vice-President for international affairs.
Eight representations of the Wrestling Federation will be established in regions, the President of the Federation said.
"The Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sport, Ministry of Education and Wrestling Federation jointly may establish the commission. This commission will examine state of wrestling at schools," the President of the Federation said.
