Turkish businessman: Quality of tourism services in Azerbaijan must be good due to "Eurovision-2012" song contest

As "Eurovision-2012" song contest will be held in Azerbaijan next year, the quality of tourism services in the country must be good, the chairman of the Turkish Investors Association of Tourist Market "TYD" Turgut Gur said at a meeting with Azerbaijani Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev.
He said that the purpose of his visit to Azerbaijan is to support the "Year of Tourism", which is declared in Azerbaijan and to assist the representatives of the tourism sector to prepare for the "Eurovision-2012" song contest.
"We have already visited Gabala," he said. "One can say that tourism in Azerbaijan has a great future. We were satisfied with the level of service in hotels and staff training."
Garayev said that as in other fields, Azerbaijan and Turkey have broad opportunities in the tourism sector. The two countries carry out mutual exchanges of personnel. The well- known tourism managers teach at the Azerbaijani Institute of Tourism.
